Q + A

What should I wear?

We kindly request formal attire in cozy neutral or brown tones.

Are kids welcome?

We love kids — and we'd be so happy to have them join the celebration! Please feel free to bring your little ones.

Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony will be held outdoors at the pergola, surrounded by beautiful views. The reception will follow indoors in the Overlook Room.

What is the water ceremony?

The water ceremony is a beautiful Thai tradition where guests pour water over our hands from a conch shell and offer their blessings. It’s a symbolic way to send good wishes for our marriage — and we’re honored to share this moment with you.

Will there be food and drinks?

Absolutely. From cocktails to dinner to cake — come hungry and ready to celebrate!

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive at least 15–30 minutes before the ceremony begins to settle in, enjoy the view, and get ready for the big moment!

Can I park at the venue?

Yes, parking is available on-site.

How can I share photos from the day?

We’d love to see the moments you capture! Please tag us or upload your photos to our shared album — details will be at the reception.

What should I call you?

The bride’s name is Kawintida, but everyone calls her Fortran — please do too! The groom is Stephen, and you’re welcome to call him Steve.

The Story Behind Our Wedding Invitation

Picture of The Story Behind Our Wedding Invitation

We wanted our wedding invitation to feel meaningful something that reflected not just the day, but who we are.

Fortran’s dad, a programmer with a quiet love for painting, worked with her to create something truly personal a hand-drawn illustration of Taharaa Mountain Lodge.
